News photos for smaller organizations?

Does anybody have an inexpensive source for news/current affairs photography?
Sources like Associated Press and Canadian Press can be really expensive, as in hundreds of dollars for a single photo.

I'm looking for photos that can be used for smaller organizations like church newsletters, Sunday presentations via Keynote, etc.

There are plenty of reasonable stock photo services but nothing I can find with current news photos (things like the Inauguration, natural disasters/relief efforts etc.)

Search the Creative Commons licensed photos on Flickr. You'll have to look but a quick search for inauguration in the CC licensed stuff turned up some cool shots. Nothing close up but some nice overview of the crowds and the Capitol Building.

Wikipedia photos are suppose to have creative common license I believe.
