that's so exciting!!!!!! like Oprah and her car giveaway, except the prize comes from a decent brand – no offense to Pontiac owners . I'd prefer if he were to give one to e'eryone – I'd feel left out! Has Steve done this before?

At MWSF 2003, every attendee received a free Not For Resale Keynote package. At WWDC 2003, every attendee received a free iSight.

Years ago, didn't they give a mouse to everyone?

I don't think they can do that trick again (the under the seat thing...that's probably the first thing EVERYONE does upon finding their seat: lean over and reach underneath to see what's there).

:D

But afterwards, while filing out, sure...I see any of the things (not the iMac mini, of course) a possibility. Mostly, I think iWork, something totally brand new and wide-appealing.

MacWorld NY 2000, the new optical mouse and pro keyboard introduction. He also debuted the Dual G4 Gigabit ethernet models, and the Power Macintosh G4 Cube at the same keynote.

So they give out $1000s of free gifts to 1000s of people. How much are the tickets?

Yeah, you pay something like $5000 to attend WWDC. Or some crazy high figure like that, I don't remember. At least a few hundred, and way more if you want to be in the live audience at the keynote address.

Giving out a bunch of $150 iSights is nothing compared to what they were being paid by the attendees there.

This year Steve walks out. turns up the lights to applause. Then 300 huge guys lock the doors people look under their seats for the "gift" and find the ives designed ithumbscrews then Steve "finds the leak" one person at a time...

...there is a reason that it is not live fed. Yup..Steve then substitues a pre- recorded keynote later...

There is no Steve Jobs, no WWDC, no MWSF, don't you GET IT?!?

Years ago, the PIXAR rendering farm gained self-awareness. It tapped into the internet, scanning Mac sites, rumor sites and then started manipulating Google and the major news sites. It has since then, slowly altered history, generating totally CGI rendered Stevenotes each year, making people buy more and more iPods, which will eventually be wireless and have audio/video input and GPS. Then it will be nearly omniscient. iTMS will be in every country, economies will crumble....
