I cannot get MacVCD to play SVCDs. Plays VCDs perfectly. Have a friend with an eMac where MacVCD plays everything. Wondering if the problem might be I am using a G5 sys OX 10,3.7. Any ideas on software that might work would be appreciated. Or any other ideas.

Live 365?

I know the server software oh-too-well. :grumble: Long story short: it sucks.

As for the client software, I haven't tried it. It looks better though. The server software looks and acts like it was coded by a room full of apes.

The client software:

Shouldn't super video CDs play as DVDs, or is this some other SVCD format?

Not on my G5 Dual Processpr OSX 10.3.7 they don't. DVD player won't touch. VLC freeware works super now.
