The Google Doodle, at least yesterday and today, is an interactive google-styled guitar that lets you play the strings and record and play back. Here's one I did - it was longer than this but I didn't realize it stopped recording after a short time like that.

Best Google Doodle ever. We were talking I was raving about it in Minecraft last night :D

And just so everyone knows, you can use the keyboard. Makes it much easier! I didn't realize that at first. But I was sort of a little drunk.

Is it supposed to play something, because it does nothing when I go to those links.

yeah should be playing automatically. if you're signed into google and iGoogle is coming up, try logging out and then try the links. That happened to me, it keeps bringing up iGoogle.

Recording/playback apparently only works in US. :(

Any key I press it just enters into the search box. I really can't seem to get it to work with the keyboard :\

Turn off autocomplete in Google's settings. Fucking nuisance. I have to turn that shit off like once a week because Google keeps forgetting it.

Also, it works without turning off autocomplete after you click the record button :)

Requires Flash for audio. If you have a blocker, disable it.

Oh, that is why it didn't work on my iPad :(

The strings worked via touch, which was cool, but they didn't make any sound.
