I'm pretty much looking at the various units on Amazon <$300. Major requirements are that it's absolutely sturdy and allows for unobstructed wide-arm pull-ups, chin-ups and dips.
The Stamina 1700 Power Tower (http://www.amazon.com/Stamina-50-1700-1700-Power-Tower/dp/B002QCIS6I/) looks pretty good, but I honestly have no experience with home gym quality stuff and I'm not going to spend $1000+ on a gym-oriented glorified pull-up bar
Body Vision PT600 Power Tower (http://www.amazon.com/Body-Vision-PT600-Power-Tower/dp/B000M29CCI) is the most popular unit on Amazon, but it seems poorly designed. Anyone doing dips will conk their head on the chin-up bar.
