So my wife and I are planning to get a game system for the family for Christmas. We were eyeing the Xbox but it seems the Wii U has won out. So I can have sanity and a gift under the tree I'm going to go ahead and pre-order it. Thing is where is the best place? I stopped by GameStop today and they will have me put down $50 for it and then pay it off before we get it. Is that the best place? Where is the best place to buy the latest model like this?
My family isn't a gamer family at all. I have a PS3 for a BD player. I use AppleTV for my movies and had a Wii but my kids have killed it. The Xbox was being looked at because of the Kinect, but the Wii just seems to be a better fit for our little kids. Where is the best place to pre-order this thing?
