...rocks! I just got #1 as an early b-day gift from a friend, and I can't stop listening to it. :)

Kind of early AIR-ish with a little retro Frank Tovey/FadGadget mixed in.

Great stuff. It got me off my Röyksopp kick anyways...

Come to think of it, what's up with all these bands nowadays trying to sound like late-70s/early-80s bands? Interpol comes to mind off the bat. I was in the music store the other day and I swore they were playing a Gang of Four I had never heard of. I asked the guy at the counter if they'd come out with a new album, and he just rolled his eyes (in a good way...he was an old fart like me and it was more of a 'Gah' rolleyeyes). "It drives me nuts" he said. "Blatant ripoff". Can't remember who he said it was, as we began to commiserate on our receeding grey hairlines...http://personali-trees.com/grey/slanty.gif

:)Hey man, it's not like I still part my hair down the middle or something. :p :D

Thanks for the thought, but that's even a little beyond my eclectic tastes. I did dig the 'Block Rockin' Beats' stuff though.

Fischerspooner was basically the darling group of the whole electroclash trend that blew up in new york 2 or 3 years ago.
