iMac G4

I was just casually browsing ebay, not looking for anything in particular, and I've seen someone local selling an iMac G4 for £25.

I'd have little use for it. I could use it as a bedroom DVD player, or maybe stream video from my Mac Mini - if it can handle that with its 700MHz G4 and 768MB of RAM. I want it though. I've always lived that design.

Someone talk me out of it. Or talk me into it...

I still have the one I bought from Kraetos years ago. It just sits in my living room looking pretty most of the time. A few times a year I turn it in and listen to music with it. That's about it.

Still a damn good looking machine though.

Update: the next morning, I found out that I'm being moved cities by my employer. Just before Christmas. I decided against buying it, as it's one less thing to move.
