I have an older computer (Beast) that's been recently replaced (Volstagg) but still has plenty of life left in it. I had Beast in a massive but awesome computer case that was very noisy. I want to downsize him to a much smaller and quieter case but know there is likely going to be a heat problem if I go too small.

Specs as of now:
i7 920, Intel ATX DX58SO motherboard (https://www.amazon.com/Intel-Extreme-Triple-channel-CrossFireX-Overclocking/dp/B001ISJONM), Radeon HD 4870 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121291), 16GB DDR3 RAM, two optical drives (BR and DVD for ripping), 1 SSD, 2 HDD 3.5". 750W PSU.

I don't want to spend a lot, but I'm ok with putting some money into this case to keep him around longer. To make the size smaller my plan was to put a liquid cooler on it like the one I have in Volstagg, Corsair H60 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835181030).

I'm was thinking about making him an ESXi server but I want to be able to rip DVDs and BluRays with him still. So I'll likely leave him as a Hackintosh. I can downgrade the graphics card since that would generate the most heat with the CPU having liquid cooling, I just don't want to if I don't need to. It's very stable and natively supported in the Hackintosh. That machine is still running 10.9 though so it will be just for extra tasks like ripping and running VMs in Fusion if it isn't an ESXi machine.

Anyway, anyone have some input in helping me downsize him from this behemoth of a case (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146079)?
