how do you link to a post?

Apologies if this is in the wrong forum - I thought it was more a site question than an Apple "Genius Bar" enquiry.

I can link to a thread, but sometimes I would like to link to the actual post in the thread - how do I do that so when a person clicks on the link they are taken directly to the post I'm writing about?

I have been wondering this myself.

I know if you look at Moogs' profile, and then look for all posts by Moogs, you can select the post that is relevant. This should give the approproiate URL you need - though this process seems a little excessive so I never use it.
