What experience do you guys have with buying Apple Certified (refurbed) products ... specifically power or ibooks.

I've bought lots of refurb stuff from Apple. Never a problem.

My best friend only buys refurbed stuff from Apple, he has never had a problem. Buying on eBay is a much worst idea, IMO, if you are inexperienced.

Go with the refurb if you can't afford the new stuff.
