Problem:

Lots and lots of devices that require either power AND/OR access to a USB HUB. I have the Mini Mac by the way.

My 110v Power requirments:

Mac Mini (Power only)
Existing USB HUB (4 port) (Power)
Two external USB 2.0 Hard Drives (Power and USB)
Monitor (Power)
KeyStation USB/Midi Keyboard (Power and USB)
Ipod Shuffle (USB when connected)
Canon Printer (Power and USB)
Scanner (Power and USB)
Digital Camera (USB when connected)
DSL Modem (power)
Linksys Router (power)

Thats like 5 permanent USB ports and at least an extra one for my cam/ipod. The Power is the killer... That 12 PLUGS!! I have three power stips laying on the desk and floor. Its a rat's nest with all the cables all over the place... Even if I get separate units, it is still a big rat's nest...

Question:

Does someone make a little "under-monitor"Power Center that controls the power to multiple units (monitor, printer, etc) AND has a built in USB HUB? That would very much simplify things....

My guess is the old "under monitor" power switchs are pretty ugly looking and resemble the 80s and 90s PCs with te BIG CRTs. They ARE ugly, but are useful..
