digital camera compatibility

i am soon to be purchasing a powerbook, and a digital camera (most likely a canon digital elph). I'm planning to wait until tiger is released to get the PB, but i may get the digicam sooner. Do you think there will be any compatibility issues with the release of tiger, and the digital camera i get (which is compatible with os X 10.3)

No, there won't.

All current Canon digital cameras are universally compatible with iPhoto, using an industry standard format called USB Mass Storage. That compatibility won't change at all with Tiger.
