So I'm going to be a newbe mac owner in a few weeks and was trying to decide between a 12" PB with a gig or ram or a 15" PB with a gig of ram. Both woul do just fine for my first mac. But I have been hearing some rumors about Tiger having performace issues with systems having only 64 meg of Vram. Dose any one know if this is true? Would there be enough of a difference to make me it worth buying the 15" with 128 megs? I don't forsee doing any video or audio editing so I wouldn't push the sytem very much. Also would the NVIDIA video card in the 12" with the lower resolution screen be a big issue?

I dont think anyone will really know until Tiger ships.

I very seriously doubt Tiger would have problems with a "mere" 64 MB of video RAM.

At worst, some of the fancy new Quartz effects might not run as quickly with lots of windows open, but it's not going to hamper overall performance of the system at all.
