"TBS is running a promo called Very Funny, and one of the commercials is called "Fringe One," featuring a call-center for people to try out funny lines.

The flat panel monitors all look like iMacs, but there are no hemispherical bases.

Even if those are not the new iMac they are by far the most amazing looking LCDs ever.

I don't like them. . . They seem to "70's look at the future" to me.

And BTW, they are not the new iMacs :rolleyes: . . .

people make stuff for commericals and movies and tv all the time...

and no way would SJ let TBS make a commerical with new iMacs or new displays...too many outsiders would see them pre release

Eh...rumor sites are frequently wrong. I wouldn't count the new iMacs out yet. WWDC isn't till next week. Expect the good rumors to start showing up saturday/sunday/monday.

ThinkSecret says not a chance on new iMacs at WWDC. They are saying fall for the new iMac, and I have a hard time swollowing that pill. Those damn things have been crusty for what 6 months now.

I don't even see the intro of the 20" as a real update.

The processor speeds didn't even change. It was more of an addition than an update.

The iMac has remained unchanged since Sept. '03. :eek:

Right, the addition of the 20" doesn't count as an upgrade because it used the same specs as the 17".

That's the official one. Apple has had it on the WWDC site for a while IIRC.

It is indeed the official invitation, I just posted it because I think it gets people excited. The "it will be worth it" is very Steve stirring the RDF storm. I love this stuff...can't wait for Monday.
