Here's what I'm planning to use as a multimedia system:
Monitor:
Samsung LT-P227W 22" 16:9 HDTV Ready LCD TV
Computer:
1.6GHz G5 PowerMac OR rev b iMac
Speakers:
Either the Soundsticks or something else along those lines. Nothing too big, no surround sound.
Now here's my question:
I'm planning to directly connect the cable to the TV. If I do it this way, my problem is how do I get the TV and Mac to share the same set of speakers?
Is there some kind of wire/device that allows me to share the speakers between 2 sources? Or do I have to get a receiver?
Or should I get an TV tuner and just run everything through my Mac?
