Gmail (Google Mail) POP3 access?

When is that going to be possible? I'd accept an invite for an account but I hate webmail when I'm at home. That would be great if a plugin was made.

I talked to HOM about this for a while today and it seems that there will probably be access like this eventually through some sort of hack or downloadable patch. It will take some time, but it'll get here.

the guy mentions in the thread that it uses vb.net, which atfirst would mean complete incompatibility with osx (or any non-windows platform). but mono and dotgnu both implement a large amount of the .net framework (or compatible), so once this dood releases the source, you may be able to use it only after compiling (and once you have mono or dotgnu installed and working). he mentions that he wont release the source until gmail goes public though. i'm thinking of emailing him to try to get the source off him early.

You might go looking for outlook express repair (http://www.oemailrecovery.com/outlook-express-repair.html) and recovery outlook express email (http://www.mail-repair.com/mail-recovery-service.html). I have been using it without problem since it came out.
