So many accessories, not enough time. Which are the best?

It seems everyone and their mother is cranking out acessories for the iPod. But how do you know which brands are the best?

I'm specifically looking for an FM transmiter and voice recorder attachment for an iPod mini.

You can try the reviews at iLounge (http://www.ilounge.com/) (formerly iPodLounge. IMHO, the new name sucks). Also, just use the search functions at various message boards (like this one) on the device you're considering.

If all else fails, post a question about it here in Purchasing Advice. Chances are someone here has experience with it. :)
