Mark Recchi has just signed a three year deal with the Penguins, brining big points and veteran leadership to a talented bunch of young lads who went on an 18 game points streak at the end of last season.

There is a God it seems, as the Pens have had to do nothing but sell off their big talent over the last three years. Finally we're heading back in the right direction. Could Kovalev be next?

Kovalev won't take a huge pay cut probably... he needs all the money he can get for his wrist surgery. Uh, he WILL need it, won't he? :lol:

Recchi is a good fit there. Look for him to have a good year. Well, if we have hockey, that is. :)

Bill Wirtz is the worst owner of any major sports franchise. He is unbelieveably cheap and a SOB to boot. No televised home games, ridiculous prices to watch half-assed talent (other than their golies and Ruutu), trades every good player he's ever had (in effect). Major dickhead. He has no business running an original six franchise.
