Tablets are definitely a dying/dead/obsoleting/ not worth it market. But a compact laptop with innovative touch-screen capabilities, e.g. capabilities that don't step on the toes of a keyboard/trackpad, but instead compliment already established interface conventions whilst potentially bringing something new to the table(like expose did) that would be neat and very apple-like. imo.
