I think they should just do the iPhone and watch in September and any Mac and iPads (all three non-pro models) in October or even November. They don't need three events. Two will do it. Two in two months is about all people could realistically deal with when they start to get all "lifestyle" and jibber-jabber-y anyway, and, frankly, some of those presenters just aren't all that engaging. I start to drift when hearing endless spec boilerplate.

If they'd taken all the iPad-related stuff out of this event, it would've shortened it by about 15-20 minutes. Makes for a shorter, more focused iPhone/watch show today, and then those 15-20 minutes (plus another 5-10 for the updated Air, so 30 minutes total) gets added to the October/November Mac event. Each event being not much more than one hour (and well under 90 minutes).

Two major product categories each...boom-boom, boom-boom.

I like how they moved their way down the coast. I recognized San Diego as the final (iPhone destination) the Coronado bridge and the whole harbor/waterfront area.
