Wait... what did you get this for? Running it in Boot Camp or do you have a GameCube/PS2/Xbox you're playing it on?
I'd say NFS Underground 2 or NFS Most Wanted are both better than the first Underground game, but all of them should run perfectly on your computer. Unless you're trying to run the game in Parallels instead of rebooting into Windows, I guess, but Parallels isn't meant for gaming.

cover? That's the new one that just came out. And I wouldn't be surprised - unless you're also running an upgraded video card, the Radeon 2600XT that comes with the Mac Pro will not be able to handle the newest NFS games. NFS ProStreet had trouble running on my machine, which has a much better video card than that. They're really poorly coded games. I guess that's EA for you.
