Thanks. It's been a nice, mellow day. Nothing outrageous (I'm kinda past that stage, really...I prefer "nice, mellow"). Had my favorite tacos from my favorite taco place, did some running around/weekday errands (a nice treat due to the smaller crowds and traffic) and heard from everyone (via mailed birthday card, phone call, email or text) I wanted to hear from...including a few that a) I didn't expect, and/or b) haven't talked to in quite some time (and it was really nice to hear from them again).
My phone blowing up a few days out of 365 is totally fine with me.
I like my quiet and solitude, but it's nice to make an exception every once in a while.
My wish of Gillian Anderson showing up and popping out of a cake hasn't panned out worth a damn, but that's really about the only thing that didn't go perfectly today.
