Actually, I wasn't much in a social, "going out" mood...so I politely declined quite a few after-work offers from friends and family, stopped and got some Outback takeout and am about to settle down and just have a quiet, mellow evening...good steak, warm house, find a good movie on, etc.
Been battling a headache all day long (sigh), so the idea of "crowds and noise" just wasn't appealing on this particular evening. Everyone understood and we just said "rain check...some other evening".
