4:50, give or take a couple of seconds - it was 1985!! And, I used indulge in the odd ciggy or 5.

Cross country practice. This was on flat hard grass/dirt. My experience has been that this type of course is faster than the track over this distance because the corners don't slow you down. My fastest 10k time is about 5 minutes faster (35 and 40 mins) on the road than on the track (but it also compares training with racing).

I weighed about 135. Now I'm at 170 now (still beautiful, though).

Running is fun.
