So if I'm going to spend something close to $250 what can I get that would give me great sound from two small speakers? What I'm thinking is something more like Sonos 1s or such. I'd rather not have a sub but great speakers that can provide good range. My D/A converter doesn't amplify at all so I guess I would need something to power the speakers.
The more I think about it the more I like the idea of a Cambridge Audio like set up...
