Well he may not be a dummy but I don't think his ideas generally run to temporal paradox or elaborate mythology, "Minority Report" notwithstanding. He likes family dynamics set against travails. This looks to be "Jurassic Park" inverted, with the park being for the humans and the world at large for the dinos. Then they live and love and fight, with the odd intrigue and secret reveal along the way for spice.
