It’s kind of fun to see the ranked choice voting go into effect here in Maine for the first federal election (not including primaries) they were on the ballot.

It’s playing out just as it’s supposed to and allows people to vote for third party candidates without feeling they wasted their vote.

I will give you one guess on which party is fighting it kicking and screaming, decrying voter fraud, questioning chain of custody procedures, and blustering about filing a lawsuit over the results...
