I can come up with all kinds of uses for VR headsets, but none of them seem to make up a market large enough to make this a profitable market segment. I understand the desire in some markets, but sales are going to be light without everyday consumers onboard. Apple hasn't got enough game presence for that to be a thing; And the "walk around" market is small and niche.
Seriously, where is the "sell 10 million per year" market for this stuff? Unless they can be sold alongside a companion sex toy, I don't see much of a consumer market
at all!
Outside of niche markets, VR/AR is just a curiosity.
