Did the animated version of the character do that, or is that a stylistic choice for the live-action take? Might've been a Robert Rodriguez thing if so.
Wasn't the voice work done by the same actor who provided it in animation? Is he doing it differently here? I don't really have any familiarity with the character, beyond just his overall appearance. I never saw him on the animated shows.
