Last summer Wes Wilson led a great panel at Play On Con about the experience of women in the sci-fi/con/gaming community. It's a small convention so the audience was less than 30 people, but it was a very intelligent discussion and opened my eyes to the experience of women in these supposedly "enlightened" subcultures.
