I figured since I started the last one I should start this one, especially since I know someone who has an employee that was just diagnosed with it.
I am prepared to have the title of this post changed like the Covid-19 thread, as there are already discussions afoot inside the WHO to change the name of the pox because it is considered to bring prejudicial feelings toward certain regions of the world.
While I don't get that, I understand that my confusion over a name change is part of my own built-in prejudice.
Do we know if this is transmissible via surface contact?
Or is it still prolonged secretion swapping?
