I'm cleaning up my basement, and just cracked open my original Mac LC (my first Mac at home.) Amazing Apple design.

Opened pizza box case with two tabs in the back, and was immediately greeted by a bird's-eye view of the whole machine.

The hard drive popped out by pulling four tabs. Not a single screwdriver needed.

Honesty, I don't know why I'm removing the HD before I recycle it, since I don't think I have anything that can read a hard drive this old.

But it was great to open it up one last time, and see the first RAM I ever installed, in the machine that got me started in the Mac universe.
This was an upgradable Mac Mini before its time.

I know computers are mere appliances now, but there is something about tinkering with the inside of your Mac that makes it yours.
