I pretty much remember the "skip Rev A product" line of thought. I was actually mildly concerned about buying the 15" Touch Bar MBP and what do you know, I had a reason to be concerned.
Phones were always better when you bought the "s" version because the original style change inevitably brought things like antenna issues and such.
