Speaking of Mexico and recalls, I watched a video by that funny car nut, Scotty, and he mentioned that production of the Tacoma had shifted to Mexico, and that there was a 70,000 vehicle recall due to bad frame welds inside the cabin - indicating that he believed they hadn't even figured out a way to make the repair due to how covered up that area is.

That has scared me *right out* of consideration of a Tacoma.

Have any of you read about this?

Also:
I looked up the Four Runner and it's still manufactured in Japan! That's got to be good, right?
