I don't mind spiders, but I don't like the idea of them hanging around my bed either. And something like that would probably give me some serious willies. It would send my wife through the roof. She doesn't like spiders and creepy crawlies, and she doesn't like it that I usually refuse to kill them. I've nothing against them, so I usually just try to get them outside when they are found.
