Bump...

I have a pretty strange problem with Safari. Not sure if the above fix would help.

Most of the time when I want to get a PDF of a scientific journal article, it opens up fine within Safari and I can save/print as desired.

However, for certain sites such as www.cell.com (for those of you with university/institutional access to online journals you can try it out), when I want to get the PDF of a particular article, a new browser window will open up and the address bar will show the link to the pdf file (ends in .pdf), but nothing shows up.

If I copy and paste the address to another browser (such as Firefox or Shiira) it works just fine, the PDF shows up.

Any ideas? Anyone? Would deleting the plugin above solve the problem?

Edit: I'm fairly comfortable with Safari so if it could be fixed within Safari, great. Otherwise I'll just get used to another browser.

Thanks in advance.

Specialists are people who know more and more about less and less until they know everything about nothing. Generalists are people who know less and less about more and more until they know nothing about everything. I'm somewhere in the middle.
