I don't understand.

I have a ribbon already. It is called 'the menu bar.'

Why do I need a second menu bar on the app? Especially one I can't turn off if I want screen real estate?

Why can't they just put the things on the ribbon in sensible places, in the menu bar or in the palettes?

I really don't get it.
