Also, du you guys think the current band interface will remain the same over the next few iterations of the watch? It would be smart if would remain the same like the 30-pin connector for some time, so that you don't also have to replace your favourite band just because you upgraded the watch itself.

The magnets in the Milanese Loop are very strong. A lot stronger than I thought they would be. It would take a pretty big tug to come loose.
I don't see the connectors for the watch bands changing. It's such a clever way to do so that I don't think they'd find another way.
