I don't mind the occasional angsty-waif sound, but some of these covers go right up to the edge of what should/shouldn't be done, and some are brilliant. Like,
I like this enough, but it could easily have been awful with just a little more angst.
This, on the other hand, I feel in my loins.
*Also Placebo. It's great but got played to death and influenced a lot of this thing.
