Thanks. Yes, I did plan ahead for buying a full frame camera and figured that it would be best to buy the glass first. Of course, I was eventually planning to buy the 5D, but then the mumbling started about it's replacement so I'm holding off.
I started with the 50mm, then added the 24-70mm and most recently got the 70-200mm. Other than a super-wide I'm pretty set, although I do plan on buying the 85L when my wife and I get down to the midget making. Best. baby. photos. evar.
I haven't yet lugged the big zoom around for extended periods, but I'm heading to NYC in August and plan to take it all with me. We'll see how soon I cry uncle.
Also, I did pick up some photo gear insurance once I bought the 2nd zoom. Seemed like a no-brainer once I realized how much value I was carrying around in my backpack. It will only get worse.
