Yep, that was news to me. They aren't going out of their way to point it out. While I was never considering that model anyway, this kinda clinches it. It just feels crippled/less than, and I know me...that would eat at me, 12-18 months from now if I felt anything was slow or otherwise lacking.
I need to find that video that pointed it out. It was a young guy with short, dark hair (I know that really narrows it down).
