Get a second opinion asap. I mean while it's cancer, you just can't trust doctors to give you all your option. Old Jewish proverb: "If you are not for yourself who will be?" Anyway, second opinion and demand use of hyperbaric chamber... though the latter might be only for situation effecting bone and infections.

Not that I've had cancer, but I've known a lot of cancer survivors.

Retired 8 years ahead of schedule.
