I recently did a clean install of 10.11 on my iMac and then transferred the files back from an external backup via migration assistant. Since that time I have been unable to delete any files from the boot drive (as in anywhere on the drive from the user folder to any other). Each time I try I get this error.
Other than not being able to delete files everything is working fine. No files are corrupted or missing. I can add or make as many new files/folders etc as I want, just no deleting.
I've tried rebooting, repairing permissions (in terminal), running Disk Utility to check for any disk errors (there are none) and running disk first aid. Nothing, nada. Any suggestions? Do I need to do an SMC reset etc?
