My last name's Bolte (commonly mispronounced as "Bolt"), so I just went with the first reasonable name that played on that in any sense.
If I were more creative, I'd have gone with some Tesla-inspired handle or something similar, but then I wouldn't have such a cute firefly as my avatar.
