You didn't mention what kind of system you have.
Do you really mean you are updating from 10.0.2 to 10.2.4 or do you mean 10.2.0 to 10.2.4?
Yo should be able to use the disc that came with your computer in any case. Try starting up while pressing the "C" key (or if that doesn't work, look at the manual to see which key combination boots from the CD-ROM drive / DVD drive) and you should be able to install the old system (after selecting the right installation option).
