I'm partial to campi components as well. They feel more solid to me than the Shimano kit. Some people don't like the "
Mickey Mouse Ears" levers for donwshifting (they're on the inside) but they work well for me when I'm out of the saddle accelerating and I want to drop 3-4 gears in one shot. I've had my touring bike for 12 years and they're as responsive as the first day I got them.
