You could move both the hard drive and the RAM, but the RAM wouldn't work. The hard drive would, though. But I remember hearing reports that the Intel iMacs aren't as user accessible.

G5 RAM:
533MHz DDR2 SDRAM

Intel iMac RAM:
667MHz DDR2 SDRAM
