Apple Watch really has lost a lot of momentum the past few months, particularly with developers.

WatchOS 2.0 seemed to have a lot of promise, but there are barely any native apps. It was suppose to be a major update for fitness apps... but so far the only one to be native is Runtastic.

It appears Apple's workout API does not allow native WatchOS apps to use the iPhone for GPS. So without GPS, fitness app makers are torn... native app with no route mapping, or continue to use an iPhone app with a watch interface.

It's pretty disappointing. There really has yet to be a killer use of the watch.
