Have installed a PCI USB 2.0 card in my G5 running Tiger.
On the G5 ports I have a flash card reader and my Cinema Display and on the USB 2.0 card ports I have 2 Printers, iPod Shuffle Dock, & Canon Scanner.
On startup usually my scanner is not detected for some reason although unplugging it then connecting again usually gets it working.
If I connect the scanner to the G5 ports the scanner works but more often than not my mouse/keyboard which are connected to my cinema display then don't work.
Is it possible i'm trying to power too many devices?
